This is a free service as the ferry crossing is a continuation of the Provincial Highway 33.

Can you get out of your car on the Glenora ferry?

You sure can but only after all the cars are loaded and the ferry is in motion. 

Please do not try to get out of your vehicle while other vehicles are still driving onto the ferry or you may lose a door or get hurt.

If you do decide to get out of your vehicle on the ferry then make your way to the font as you can get great pictures from there.

Can you walk on the Glenora ferry?

Yes, you can walk onto the ferry! 

Just walk up to the loading gate when you are ready and the deckhand for the ferry will guide you on when it’s safe.

Glenora Ferry to and from Kingston

If you live on the east side of Prince Edward County then the fastest way to get to and from Kingston is the Glenora Ferry.

From the Glenora dock it’s a 15 min ferry ride across to the Adolphus town side.

From there it will take 51 minutes to get to Kingston, just a 46 Km drive on hwy 33.

If you do not want to take the ferry then you’ll have to drive from the Glenora dock through Picton out Highway 49.

This trip will take you approximately 1 hour and it’s an 86 Km drive.
