The Location in Prince Edward County

Wander the Resort is situated on West Lake in Wellington, Prince Edward County. The resort is a two-hour drive from Toronto, and it is easily accessible from Highway 401.

There are lakeside cabins that are quite breathtaking, and they are ideal for those who want a truly different experience.

If you are not familiar with the area the stylish lakeside home base is located in the heart of Prince Edward County’s wine country.

A Modern Lakefront Resort With Cabins

Wander the Resort features ten contemporary cabins that offer a perfect blend of comfort and luxury.

The design of the cabins is inspired by Scandinavian architecture, which is characterized by minimalist decor.

Our cabin had two bedrooms with comfortable beds, high-quality linens, and stylish furnishings. Each cabin also has a private deck with stunning views of the lake.

We found the cabin very clean, and spacious, and we could look out to an amazing view of the lake, so you can wake up to a stunning view every morning.

Moreover, each cabin has a private deck, which is perfect for a morning cup of coffee, and an evening glass of wine.

Private Beachfront On West Lake

They have a private sandy beachfront that spans over 300 feet. We could choose our own private loungers with cushions and pillows.

Although we were there in Nov I could see sitting here and relaxing, soaking in the sun going for a swim, or even having a picnic during our hot Prince Edward County summer days.

The beach is secluded, clean, and surrounded by natural beauty.

You can sit on the beach and simply watch the many ducks, geese, and swans on calm waters.

The closest we got was the hot tub then back to our cabin with the heated floors.

Starting in 2023 they will be offering a Beach Club for $40 plus tax a day per person so look for that.

Water Fowel In Wellington

The natural surroundings of the resort are simply breathtaking.

You can take a leisurely walk around the resort on the pebble walkways and explore the lush greenery or take a day to explore the wander the resort and neighboring wildlife sanctuary.

You’ll see birds, waterfowl, and potentially a glimpse of a muskrat or two.

Apart from its natural beauty, Wellington, Prince Edward County is home to various attractions that guests can visit while staying at Wander the Resort.
